Ride, Relax, Discover Tour - South Gippsland

Ride, Relax & Discover South Gippsland takes the same relaxed, supported touring style as our East Gippsland experience and brings it to the beautiful trails, coastlines, villages and landscapes of South Gippsland.

This 7-day, 7-night tour has been designed for riders who enjoy scenic rail trail riding, quality accommodation, thoughtfully planned meals and time to experience the region beyond the bike.

Over the tour, you will ride sections of both the Great Southern Rail Trail and the Bass Coast Rail Trail, with generally predictable trail surfaces and manageable daily distances. Along the way, there will be time to enjoy local towns, coastal views, regional food experiences and a non-riding day to explore more of what South Gippsland has to offer.

As with all Ride, Relax & Discover tours, the focus is on making the experience enjoyable, supported and easy. A support rider will be with the group while riding, and a support vehicle will assist with logistics, luggage, transfers and day-to-day tour support.

Accommodation & Meals

Accommodation will be in boutique cottage or quality motel-style accommodation throughout the tour.

Meals will be carefully considered to ensure the quality and variety reflects the style of our East Gippsland Ride, Relax & Discover tour, with a focus on good food, local experiences and relaxed group dining.

Riding & Support

The Great Southern Rail Trail and Bass Coast Rail Trail both offer enjoyable riding through a mix of farmland, forest, coastal sections and regional towns.

While the trail surfaces are generally predictable, this is still a supported multi-day cycling tour. You will have a support rider with the group while riding and a support vehicle assisting throughout the tour.

This tour is suited to riders who enjoy relaxed, scenic cycling and like the idea of combining riding with quality accommodation, meals and regional experiences.

Daily riding distances are designed to be achievable for riders who are comfortable riding multiple days in a row, with support available throughout the tour.
